These films, shot on Kodak 250D 16mm film, are a three-part documentary series that explores the culture and daily life at Sosta House, a bed and breakfast and winery located in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The films provide an intimate look at the rhythms of the space, capturing the beauty of the landscape and the stories of the people who shape it.

Central to the narrative are Nico and Mia Ponzi-Hamacher, the brother-sister duo who own and operate Sosta House, having grown up on the land and developed a deep connection to both its natural surroundings and its culinary traditions. These films are an intimate portrait of Sosta House as a living, evolving entity—one that honors its heritage while building a sustainable future. We feel lucky to be a small part of Mia & Nico’s story in sharing the magic of Sosta.
